It's cute cause it's true.

Great weekend:

- I feel like I was able to catch up with so many people this weekend. I just wish I had taken more pictures though.. my camera battery died due to my ill planning.
- Even though we just got together a couple weeks ago, it was especially nice having my family over for dinner. I love them so..
- Definitely growing more excited for school in the fall. I have a room! I'm already looking up decorating ideas. :)
- Had the best ham and swiss sandwich ever today. I'm excited to have my leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
- It's honestly like I'm smitten all over again.
- I am exhausted. Time for bed, world.

Fact:

I break at least one pair of sunglasses every year.

This is why I cannot pay more than $10 for a pair of sunglasses. Unnecessary story time: Today, I pulled out my favorite pair of sunglasses from my purse and realized that one arm was missing. So naturally, I went out and bought not just one, but 2 replacements that looked rather similar. And as I sat in the very same place I sit right now, a tiny little screw appeared out of no where. Sunglasses sorta fixed. (I screwed it back with my nail.) Now I own 3 pairs of floral designed sunglasses. Do not be surprised when all of them are broken by the end of summer. Or, by some freak luck, I'll still have all 3 of them in 30 years.

Anyway, this week has been fantastic. I am loving summer so far, and I love that I get to see friends a lot. What I love more than that: unexpected phone calls from people I really like.

Highlights thus far in the week:
-Pieology
-baking & talking
-Disneyland
-Yoga during lunch breaks at work!

Looking forward to:
-More baking/cooking more tomorrow
-Bonfire with friends on Saturday
-Maybe rock climbing on Sunday?

Goodnight, world. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.
(I mix writing out numbers and not writing them out. Weird.)

Kimly ♥ lunch dates.

Pie-ology: the Chipotle of pizza, conveniently located across the street from the Chipotle in Fullerton.

My genius computer is incapable of rotating an image. Hopefully I'll get it fixed by tomorrow and no one will know what I am talking about. Or I'll get too lazy and will forever have a lame picture. Adds character, no? My computer can barely even handle writing this blog entry without slowing down: sad.

Anyway, this was quite delicious. Left: margarita pizza + mushrooms & extra cheese. Right: bbq chicken pizza. The place was sorta empty when we went in for lunch today, so we got to sit on the hip, awkward couches. Great service and all of the people there seem very friendly. It's definitely one of my new favorite places to eat right now.

Lunch dates have been some of the highlights of my week. They're my much needed breaks during long work days to keep Kimly sane.

Thoughts of the Day

-YES. It's only 6:30, I can still sleep.
-Okay, 7:oo came to fast. Snooze button!
-
Uhh... it's 7:35 and I normally leave the house five minutes ago. Great. Surprisingly still got to work only a few minutes later than I normally do. No, I didn't speed, I just didn't really get to think out my outfit as much as I wanted to. And no makeup..
-Lalala, daily routine: drive, get to the office and unlock the doors, make coffee, print packing slips, restocks and finish tasks. Easy day.
-Lunch at Tranquil for the first time in months! All that was missing was Robin.. Pretty surprised that a tea trio kept me full until 11pm.
-Missing certain people all day, but unexpectedly having the chance to see them after work is very nice.
-[Insert "Let's go to the Mall" song from How I Met Your Mother here]
-Very glad I decided to go to the gym. Slowly getting better. My hands sweat a tad bit just typing about it.
-NEW PHONE CASE CAME IN. I don't think anyone understands how frustrating it's been to have my old one literally fall off at least 5 times a day. Thank you free Amazon Prime.

Pretty darn good day.
